Higher Education Workshops

The SexEd Collective delivers inclusive, evidence-based workshops for colleges and universities designed to support students as they navigate relationships, sexuality and consent in adulthood. Sessions recognise the diverse experiences, identities and levels of prior learning students bring with them and are shaped to feel relevant to modern student life.

Workshops explore a wide range of themes, including communication, boundaries, consent, wellbeing, pleasure, identity and healthy relationships. Sessions also engage with more progressive and contemporary topics, such as online dating culture, digital intimacy, pornography, social media and the evolving role of technology in shaping relationships, expectations and self-image.

Workshops explore relationships, sexuality and wellbeing in the context of adult life reflecting through realities of modern students experiences. Themes may include:

-consent, communication and boundaries

-healthy relationships and intimacy

-sexual health, contraception and STI’s

-pleasure, desire and body autonomy

-identity, sexuality and inclusion

-online dating, digital intimacy and technology

-pornography and media literacy

-social media, self image and expectations

-harmful sexual behaviours

All workshops are delivered in calm, respectful and emotionally safe learning environments. Students are encouraged to engage in discussion and reflection, while clear boundaries are maintained to ensure participation is always voluntary and never pressured. Content is approached in a non-judgemental, inclusive way, supporting critical thinking, personal agency and informed decision-making.

The SexEd Collective aims to provide spaces where students feel supported to explore complex topics thoughtfully, develop confidence in navigating relationships and build understanding the supports their wellbeing both during their studies and beyond.
