About The SexEd Collective

The SexEd Collective is an education-focused initiative dedicated to delivering inclusive, evidence-based relationships and sex education for young people and the adults who support them.

We design and facilitate engaging workshops that centre consent, communication, wellbeing and respect, helping participants build the knowledge and confidence they need to navigate sex and relationships safely and thoughtfully. Our work is rooted in safeguarding and inclusivity ensuring that sensitive topics are approached with care, clarity and professionalism.

The SexEd Collective works with schools, educators, parents and community organisations to provide modern, accessible education that reflects the realities young people face today. Our approach is collaborative, practical and grounded in current best practice, creating spaces were learning feels supportive, empowering and relevant.

About Our Founder

The SexEd Collective was founded by an experienced practitioner with a background in early years education and direct work with children, young people and families. This experience provided a strong grounding in child development, communication and safeguarding, and shaped the values that underpin the Collective today.

Our founders journey into sex education developed from a commitment to providing RSE that genuinely meets students needs. Having seen the impact of limited or inconsistent provision, she is passionate about curriculum that is inclusive, age-appropriate and reflective of the realities young people face.

The SexEd Collective was created to offer young people calm, respectful and emotionally safe spaces to learn about relationships and sexuality. Our approach is rooted in consent, wellbeing and open conversations that support young people to explore these topics with confidence and care.

Safeguarding Statement

Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. All work is designed to priorities the safety, dignity and wellbeing of children and young people. We follow current UK safeguarding guidance and best practice, and any concerns raised during sessions are responded to appropriately and in line with statutory responsibilities.

All workshops include clear ground rules, opportunities to opt out, and signposting to safe sources of support. The SexEd Collective holds an enhanced DBS check and maintains up-to-date safeguarding training.

Policies and Procedures

The SexEd Collective is committed to delivering safe, ethical and professional practice. Clear policies and procedures guide all aspects of our work, ensuring consistency, accountability and high standards when working with children, young people and adults.

When delivering workshops or sessions within a school or organisation, we work in partnership with staff and follow the host setting’s safeguarding, behaviour and reporting procedures, including designated safeguarding lead processes. This means any concerns that arise are shared appropriately and in line with that organisations established systems.

In addition, The SexEd Collective operates under its own policies, which are regularly reviewed and updated. The following policies are available on request:

• safeguarding and child protection

•confidentiality and disclosure

•equality, diversity and inclusion
