School Workshops
The SexEd Collective delivers engaging, age appropriate, inclusive and evidence based Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) workshops for secondary school settings. Sessions are carefully designed to align with pupils development stages, ensuring content is appropriate, relevant and accessible for each age group.
Workshops follow current Relationships and Sex Education guidance and are designed to complement existing school provision, supporting pupils to build understanding, confidence and critical thinking around key themes such as consent, communication, boundaries, wellbeing and healthy relationships.
Workshops explore a wide range of age-appropriate relationships and sex education themes, delivered in line with developmental stages and current guidance. Themes may include:
-puberty and physical development
-reproduction and contraception
-sexually transmitted infections (STI’s) and sexual health
-consent, boundaries and communication
-healthy and unhealthy relationships
-emotional wellbeing and self esteem
-peer pressure and decision-making
-online relationships and digital safety
-pornography and media literacy
-respect, equality and inclusion
Recognising the evolving landscape young people are growing up in, sessions also explore contemporary issues including the increasing influence of technology, online relationships, digital intimacy, and pornography. These topics are approached in a measured, non-judgmental way, supporting pupils to reflect on the messages they receive, develop media literacy and make informed and respectful choices.
All workshops are delivered in calm, structured and emotionally safe learning environments. Participation is encouraged but never pressured, allowing pupils to engage at a level that feels comfortable for them. Clear boundaries are maintained throughout, with an emphasis on respect, safeguarding and emotional wellbeing.
The SexEd Collective aims to create spaces where young people feel supported to ask questions, develop understanding and build skills that will support them both now and as they move into adulthood.
